Privacy Policy
BeforeScroll processes your health, Screen Time, wallet and settings data on your device. We do not receive this app data on a TokenDance server. Apple handles purchases. Contacting support or visiting this website involves separate data processing described below.
This policy explains how TokenDance ("we", "us") handles information when you use the BeforeScroll iPhone app, its Screen Time monitor extension, this privacy-policy page, or contact us. TokenDance is the publisher and privacy contact for BeforeScroll. The app helps you earn screen time through activity, reading and focus, and use it deliberately.
1. Information processed and why
- Health and fitness: with your HealthKit permission, the app reads step count, walking and running distance, and active energy. It calculates daily amounts and reward progress to credit time and repay time debt. It stores derived amounts, baselines and reward/accounting state locally, rather than copying your full Health record. The app does not write health samples to Apple Health.
- Screen Time selections and monitoring: with your authorization, the app uses Apple's privacy-preserving tokens for the apps, categories and websites you select for protection, and individual apps selected for reading rewards. Apple's DeviceActivity service monitors cumulative usage thresholds. The app and its extension store selections, confirmed reading progress, monitoring schedules, allowance/session identifiers and completion state in a shared on-device App Group. This enables shielding and reading rewards. BeforeScroll does not receive the contents of the selected apps, your messages, or the contents of websites you visit, and does not upload your selections or usage-monitoring state to us.
- Wallet, ledger and focus: the app stores earned and spent minutes, borrowed time and repayment, balances, time debt, transaction timestamps, reward sources, rules, and focus-session duration and pause/resume state. These are time-management records, not bank accounts or financial credit records. Focus background sounds are bundled with the app; playing them does not record your microphone.
- Preferences: language, enabled earning sources, configured rules, onboarding state, permission-request state, and focus sound, volume and mute preferences are stored locally to remember your choices.
- Subscriptions: Apple's StoreKit supplies product details, verified purchase transactions, plan, expiration, trial eligibility and renewal status. The app uses these to determine membership and restore purchases. It stores a transaction identifier locally to avoid duplicate trial reminders. We do not receive your payment card details or Apple Account credentials.
- Notifications and diagnostics: if you allow notifications, the app schedules a local trial-ending reminder using subscription timing. There is no BeforeScroll remote-push registration or marketing-notification service. The monitor extension may write technical error descriptions to the device's system log for troubleshooting. The app does not include a third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK or send these logs to a TokenDance server. Apple's system diagnostics are governed by your device settings and Apple's policies.
BeforeScroll does not require a TokenDance account. It does not sell or rent personal data, track you across other companies' apps or websites, or use HealthKit or Screen Time data for advertising, marketing or profiling.
2. Permissions and your choices
HealthKit, Screen Time and notification permissions are requested through Apple's system interfaces. You choose what to authorize. Reading this policy does not grant those permissions.
- Review or revoke Health access in Apple Health's app-access settings or the corresponding iOS privacy settings. Without access, affected health-based rewards cannot update. Empty Health results do not establish whether permission was denied.
- Review or revoke BeforeScroll's Screen Time access in iOS Settings, under Screen Time / Apps with Screen Time Access (names may vary by iOS version). Without authorization, app protection and reading monitoring cannot operate.
- Change protected and reading app selections in BeforeScroll. You can turn earning sources off in Time Rules; doing so stops use for that earning source but does not delete existing records or itself revoke system permissions.
- Disable notifications in iOS Settings → Notifications → BeforeScroll. Membership does not depend on allowing reminder notifications.
Revoking a permission stops future access through that permission; it does not automatically delete already saved wallet, ledger or preference data. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, optional system-authorized access is based on your consent; support correspondence is processed to respond to your request and, where applicable, for our legitimate interest in providing support or meeting legal obligations. You can withdraw consent through the controls above without affecting processing that occurred beforehand.
3. Sharing and Apple services
We do not upload the app's health, Screen Time, wallet, ledger, focus or preference data to our servers or share it with advertising or analytics providers. The monitor extension accesses the shared state on the same device to perform the functions you requested.
Apple provides HealthKit, Screen Time, StoreKit, subscription billing and system notifications. Purchases, refunds, cancellation and Apple's processing are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. Other apps you select and external sites you open have their own privacy practices. Their services do not receive your BeforeScroll wallet or health data from us.
If you separately contact us, your correspondence may be processed by email providers to deliver and store the exchange. We limit disclosures to what is needed for support, legal obligations, or protecting rights and security; we do not disclose app data we do not hold. Providers may process correspondence or website requests outside your country under their own applicable safeguards.
4. Storage and retention
App data is stored in the app's local storage and its shared App Group. The app has no TokenDance cloud account or developer-operated cloud sync. Settings, selections, current wallet and session state remain until they are updated, removed by the operating system, or deleted with the app as described below.
The app resets daily accounting at a local-day change. When a new ledger event is recorded, ledger entries older than 30 days are removed. This cleanup occurs during app processing; it is not a server-based or continuously running deletion service. Reading-monitor progress is reconciled and older daily monitoring records are pruned as monitoring runs. Daily resets do not erase all preferences or all ledger history.
Apple Health keeps the original health samples separately. Revoking BeforeScroll's access or deleting BeforeScroll does not delete those original samples. Apple also retains purchase records according to its own policies.
Device, computer or iCloud backups may include app data according to Apple's behavior and your settings. "Stored locally" does not mean that operating-system backup is disabled. Restoring a backup may restore saved app data; you manage backups separately through Apple or your computer.
5. Deletion and privacy rights
BeforeScroll currently has no in-app account or full-data deletion button. To stop processing and remove its installed app data:
- Remove protected selections and revoke BeforeScroll's Screen Time and Health permissions as appropriate.
- Use iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → BeforeScroll → Delete App. Offload App keeps documents and data and is not equivalent to deletion.
- Review relevant backups separately if you also want to remove backed-up copies. Shared App Group data is managed by iOS and may remain if another installed app or extension uses the same group. Contact us if data reappears after a reinstall.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel renewal in Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions, or Apple's subscription-management page. Manage original health records in Apple Health.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a competent privacy authority. Contact us to exercise rights concerning correspondence we hold. Since we do not hold your on-device app records, we cannot remotely read, export, correct or erase them; we can explain the available device controls. We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-context advertising.
6. Support correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address and the message, attachments and other information you choose to send. We use these to answer questions, investigate issues and handle privacy requests. Please do not send Health exports, detailed usage histories, payment credentials or other sensitive information unless it is necessary and you choose to share it. You may redact screenshots.
We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and follow-up, resolve disputes or meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion of correspondence by email; we will explain any information that must be retained. This is separate from the app's local 30-day ledger cleanup.
7. Visiting this privacy-policy page
This page is published through GitHub Pages. Its hosting and network providers may process your IP address, browser/request information and access logs to deliver the page, maintain security and operate their services. See GitHub's privacy statement. Website requests are separate from BeforeScroll's on-device data.
This policy page does not embed analytics, advertising, external fonts or tracking scripts, and its own code does not set cookies or use browser local storage. Clicking an external link or emailing us involves the destination service's own practices.
8. Security
We limit access to the data needed for the app's functions and use iOS app isolation and App Group access controls. Apple manages system permissions and purchase verification. This policy page is served over HTTPS. You should protect access to your device, Apple Account and backups. No device or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Age suitability and children
BeforeScroll is designed for individual screen-time management. Its age rating is calculated by Apple from the content categories and features declared in the App Store Connect age-rating questionnaire. Please refer to the age rating shown on the app's App Store product page for your country or region and operating-system version. This privacy policy does not set an additional fixed minimum age for using the app. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information on our servers. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support contact, please notify us so we can address it, including deletion where appropriate. Apple controls age-related eligibility and system authorization requirements.
10. Changes and contact
We will update this page and its revision date when our practices change. Where required, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent before introducing materially different processing. This policy describes the current app; it is not permission for undisclosed future data collection.

1. 处理的信息及用途

- 钱包、账本与专注：App 保存获得和使用的分钟数、借用与还款、余额、时间欠款、事件时间、奖励来源、规则，以及专注时长和暂停或继续状态。这些是时间管理记录，不是银行账户或金融信用记录。专注背景音随 App 提供，播放声音不会录制你的麦克风。
- 偏好设置：App 在本地保存语言、开启的奖励来源、规则、初始设置状态、权限请求状态，以及专注声音、音量和静音设置，以记住你的选择。
- 订阅：Apple 的 StoreKit 提供商品资料、已验证购买交易、套餐、到期时间、试用资格和续费状态。App 使用这些信息判断会员权益和恢复购买，并在本地保存一个交易标识以避免重复试用提醒。我们不接收银行卡资料或 Apple 账户登录凭据。
- 通知与诊断：如果允许通知，App 根据订阅时间安排本地试用结束提醒，没有 BeforeScroll 远程推送注册或营销通知服务。监控扩展可能将技术错误说明写入设备系统日志，用于排查问题。App 未集成第三方统计、广告或崩溃报告 SDK，也不向 TokenDance 服务器发送这些日志。Apple 的系统诊断由设备设置和 Apple 政策管理。
BeforeScroll 不要求注册 TokenDance 账户。我们不出售或出租个人数据，不跨其他公司的 App 或网站追踪你，也不将 HealthKit 或屏幕时间数据用于广告、营销或用户画像。
2. 权限与自主选择
健康、屏幕时间和通知权限均通过 Apple 系统界面请求，由你决定授权范围。阅读本政策不会授予这些权限。
- 在 Apple 健康的 App 访问设置或相应 iOS 隐私设置中查看、撤销健康权限。没有访问权限时，相应健康奖励无法更新。健康查询结果为空并不能证明你拒绝了权限。
- 在 iOS 设置的“屏幕使用时间／可访问屏幕使用时间的 App”中查看、撤销 BeforeScroll 授权；具体名称可能随系统版本变化。没有授权时，应用保护和阅读监控无法运行。
- 在 BeforeScroll 中修改保护应用或阅读应用选择。在“时间规则”中关闭奖励来源，可停止该来源的奖励处理，但不会删除已有记录，也不会自动撤销系统权限。
- 在 iOS 设置 → 通知 → BeforeScroll 中关闭通知。会员权益不以允许提醒通知为条件。
撤销权限会停止通过该权限进行的后续访问，不会自动删除已保存的钱包、账本或偏好数据。适用法律要求处理依据时，通过系统授权的可选访问以你的同意为依据；支持通信用于回应你的请求，并在适用时基于提供支持的合法利益或履行法律义务。你可通过上述设置撤回同意，不影响撤回前已发生的处理。
3. 共享与 Apple 服务
我们不将 App 中的健康、屏幕时间、钱包、账本、专注或偏好数据上传至我们的服务器，也不向广告或统计服务商共享。监控扩展仅在同一设备上访问共享状态，以完成你请求的功能。
Apple 提供 HealthKit、屏幕时间、StoreKit、订阅付款和系统通知。购买、退款、取消订阅及 Apple 的信息处理受其条款和隐私政策约束。你选择的其他 App 和打开的外部网站有各自的隐私规则；我们不会向它们提供你的 BeforeScroll 钱包或健康数据。
如果你另行联系我们，邮件服务商可能为投递和保存通信而处理相关信息。我们将披露限定于支持、法律义务或保护权利及安全所需的范围，不会披露我们未持有的 App 数据。服务商可能在你所在国家或地区以外，依其适用保护措施处理通信或网页请求。
4. 保存位置与期限
App 数据保存在应用本地存储及其共享 App Group 中。App 没有 TokenDance 云账户，也没有开发者提供的云同步。设置、应用选择、当前钱包和会话状态会保留至被更新、由系统移除，或按下文随 App 删除。
App 在本地日期变化时结算每日数据；记录新账本事件时，清理超过 30 天的账本条目。这项清理随 App 的处理执行，并非服务器或持续后台运行的删除服务。阅读监控运行时会核对进度并清理较早的每日监控记录。跨日结算不会清除所有偏好或全部账本历史。
原始健康样本由 Apple 健康单独保存。撤销 BeforeScroll 权限或删除 BeforeScroll 不会删除原始健康样本。Apple 也会根据自身政策保留购买记录。
设备、电脑或 iCloud 备份可能按 Apple 的系统行为及你的设置包含 App 数据。“本地保存”不代表操作系统备份已被禁用。恢复备份可能恢复已保存数据；备份需要通过 Apple 或电脑另行管理。
5. 删除数据与隐私权利
BeforeScroll 当前没有 App 内账户，也没有删除全部数据的按钮。如需停止处理并移除已安装 App 的数据：
- 按需移除保护选择，并撤销 BeforeScroll 的屏幕时间和健康权限。
- 进入 iOS 设置 → 通用 → iPhone 储存空间 → BeforeScroll，选择删除 App。“卸载 App”（Offload App）会保留文稿与数据，不等同于删除。
- 如需移除备份副本，请另行检查相关备份。共享 App Group 数据由 iOS 管理；若其他已安装 App 或扩展仍使用相同组，数据可能保留。若重新安装后数据再次出现，可联系我们获得说明。
删除 App 不会取消订阅。请在设置 → Apple 账户 → 订阅，或Apple 订阅管理页面管理、取消续费。原始健康记录应在 Apple 健康中另行管理。
根据适用法律，你可能享有访问、更正、删除、获取副本、限制或反对处理、撤回同意，以及向主管隐私机构投诉等权利。对我们持有的支持通信，可联系我们行使权利。由于我们不持有你的设备内 App 记录，无法远程读取、导出、更正或清除这些记录，但可以说明可用的设备操作。我们不出售个人数据，也不将其用于跨场景广告。
6. 支持通信
你发送邮件时，我们会收到邮箱地址、消息、附件和你主动提供的其他信息，用于回答问题、排查故障和处理隐私请求。除非确有必要且你自愿提供，请不要发送健康导出文件、详细使用历史、付款凭据或其他敏感信息。截图可以先遮盖无关内容。
支持通信仅在处理请求和后续事项、解决争议或履行适用法律义务合理需要的期限内保存。你可通过邮件申请删除通信；如有必须保留的信息，我们会说明。支持通信的保存不同于 App 本地账本的 30 天清理机制。
7. 访问本隐私政策网页
本页面通过 GitHub Pages 发布。托管和网络服务商可能为交付网页、维护安全及运行服务，处理 IP 地址、浏览器或请求信息和访问日志。请参阅 GitHub 隐私声明。网页请求与 BeforeScroll 的设备内数据处理是分开的。
本政策页面不嵌入统计、广告、外部字体或追踪脚本，其自身代码不设置 Cookie，也不使用浏览器本地存储。点击外部链接或发送邮件时，目标服务会依其自身规则处理信息。
8. 安全措施
我们将访问限定于 App 功能所需的数据，并使用 iOS 应用隔离及 App Group 访问控制。系统权限和购买验证由 Apple 管理。本政策页面通过 HTTPS 提供。请保护设备、Apple 账户和备份的访问安全；任何设备或传输方式都无法保证绝对安全。
9. 年龄适宜性与儿童
BeforeScroll 用于个人屏幕时间管理。应用年龄分级由 Apple 根据 App Store Connect 年龄分级问卷中申报的内容类型和功能计算。请以 App Store 产品页面针对你所在国家或地区及操作系统版本显示的年龄分级为准。本隐私政策不额外设定固定的最低使用年龄。我们不会明知而在服务器上收集儿童个人信息。如你认为儿童向我们的支持联系渠道发送了个人信息，请通知我们，以便适当处理，包括在适用时删除。年龄相关资格和系统授权要求由 Apple 管理。
10. 政策更新与联系方式
数据处理方式变化时，我们会更新本页面及修订日期。在有要求时，我们会提供额外通知，并在引入重大不同的数据处理前取得同意。本政策描述当前 App，不构成对未披露的未来数据收集的授权。
